Chef Stephen Ollard

Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, Chef Ollard began his culinary journey at Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, South Carolina, before refining his craft through an apprenticeship at the Four-Star Le Conte Club. It was there that he developed a deep appreciation for the beauty and importance of local, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients.

Today, Chef Ollard serves as the Culinary Director for Urban Food Group, overseeing high-end culinary operations across the Carolinas. With a culinary style influenced by Italian, Mediterranean, Classical French, and Modern Southern cuisine, he brings a creative approach that lets quality ingredients shine.

And he’s no stranger to the spotlight! Chef Ollard is an accomplished culinary competitor who has earned top honors at prestigious cooking competitions throughout the Southeast. His talent and culinary philosophy have also been featured by USA Today, The Local Palate, The Daily Meal, Low Country Live, and Elegant Island Living.

But beyond the kitchen, Chef Ollard’s greatest passions are faith and family. When he’s not creating incredible food, you’ll find him at home growing food and caring for his family’s goats, chickens, and other animals.
